1. Who processes your data#
Your data is processed by KAMBRIQ, a company in the course of formation under Cameroonian law, publisher of the kambriq.com site.
- Contact for any question about your data: contact@kambriq.com
- Phone / WhatsApp: +33 7 58 42 14 88
KAMBRIQ has not appointed a data protection officer. Requests about your data are handled by the publication director, Visquis MIAFFOSSA, at contact@kambriq.com.
The processing of your data is subject to Cameroonian law No. 2024/017 of 23 December 2024 on the protection of personal data and, where its conditions of application are met, to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).
2. The data we process#
We process only the data you give us and the data the operation of the site produces.
2.1 Your account
- Your last name, first name, email address, preferred language and, if you provide them, your phone number, address, city, country and profile photo.
- Your password, which we never keep as such: only its digest is stored.
2.2 KBS training and the KAMNET™ network
- When you enrol in KBS training: a copy of your identity document, your CV if you attach it, the referral code if you give one, and the date and version of the commitment text you accepted. The identity document is reviewed by a KAMBRIQ administrator.
- If you are a KAMNET™ agent: your presentation, and your agreement to appear in the public directory, with its date and the version of the text accepted. The directory publishes your first name, the initial of your last name, your city and your KCA certificate number, and nothing else.
- KAMNET™ agents can record in their space the name, email address and phone number of the people they support.
2.3 Your contact requests and the newsletter
- When you write to us through the contact form: your name, email address, phone number if you give it, your message, your language, and the date and version of this policy that you accepted.
- When you subscribe to the newsletter: your email address.
2.4 Technical logs
The platform's technical logs record the date and time, the method and address of the page or service requested, the response code and duration, the IP address, the browser identification, the technical request headers, your account identifier if you are signed in, and operational events linked to your account. The values of parameters in those addresses, except technical pagination, sorting and filtering parameters, as well as authentication headers and cookies, are masked before writing: they appear in no log.
We also keep the delivery refusals and complaints reported for the emails we send you.
2.5 What we do not do
- No reservation, no deposit and no payment can be made online on the site: we collect no banking data.
- We use no audience measurement tool and no advertising cookie.
- We take no automated decision producing legal effects for you.
- We never sell your data.
3. Why we process it#
- To create and manage your account, and provide the services you request (KBS training, the KAMNET™ network, verification): performance of the contract.
- To answer your contact requests: pre-contractual steps taken at your request.
- To publish your entry in the agent directory: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time from your space.
- To send you the newsletter: your consent.
- To secure the platform and prevent fraud (technical logs): our legitimate interest.
4. Who has access to it#
Your data is accessible only to the members of KAMBRIQ's team who need it, according to their role on the platform.
KAMBRIQ uses the following providers, which process data on its behalf:
- Amazon Web Services EMEA SARL: hosting of the platform, its database and the files you upload, sending of emails and the newsletter subscription list, in the AWS eu-central-1 region (Frankfurt, Germany).
- Google (Google Workspace): the mailbox of contact@kambriq.com, which receives contact requests and the messages you send us.
If you write to us on WhatsApp, your message goes through the WhatsApp service, published by Meta.
Your data may be disclosed to a judicial or administrative authority that lawfully requires it.
5. Where your data is#
Your data is hosted in the European Union, in Frankfurt (Germany). It may be consulted by KAMBRIQ's team, including from a country outside the European Union.
Open point. The safeguards governing access to your data from a country outside the European Union are not yet formalised. They will be described here once they are.
6. How long we keep it#
- Technical logs: at most 30 days, then deleted.
- All other data (your account, the data linked to KBS training and the KAMNET™ network, your contact requests, your newsletter subscription): until you ask for it to be erased. You can ask at any time for your account or this data to be deleted, at contact@kambriq.com.
Open point. The periods after which this data will be deleted without a request from you are not yet set. They will be stated here once they are.
7. Your rights#
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and object to the processing of your data, the right to data portability, and the right to withdraw a consent at any time, without affecting processing already carried out.
- You can change your account information directly from your space.
- For any other request, write to contact@kambriq.com. We may ask you to prove your identity. We answer within one month.
If you consider that your rights are not respected, you can lodge a complaint with the data protection authority of your country of residence. The /legal/rgpd page gives the competent authority for each of the countries where the diaspora KAMBRIQ supports lives.
8. Security#
- Exchanges with the site are encrypted (HTTPS, TLS 1.2 or higher).
- The database and uploaded files are encrypted at rest.
- Passwords and access tokens are stored as digests.
- Access to data is limited according to each person's role on the platform.
9. Cookies#
We use only the cookies needed for the site to work and stay secure: the one that remembers the language you chose; two technical cookies that protect sign-in against request forgery and remember where to return after signing in; and, when you are signed in, the one that keeps your session. As these cookies are necessary, the site displays no consent banner. If that changes, this policy will be amended before the cookie concerned is set.
10. Minors#
The site and KAMBRIQ's services are not intended for minors, and minors may not create an account. If you think a minor has sent us data, write to contact@kambriq.com so that we delete it.
11. Changes to this policy#
The applicable version is the one published on the site on the date of consultation. Each version carries its number at the top of the text.
